This photo exudes a dynamic quality, as if the water is in motion, despite it being a still image. The haziness at the top centre adds an ethereal touch, enhancing the overall mystical feel.

Sharon, your photo caught my attention—I had to do a double-take to realise that the buildings were reflecting in the water. The colours, distortion, and repetitive elements captured in the reflection create a captivating visual experience. Congratulations on earning a weekly photo award! -

The scene you’ve captured is wonderful, yet the narrative at the bottom is overshadowed by the magnificent sky above. To bring more focus to your story, I recommend a 16×9 cinematic crop and reduce some of the sky to place greater emphasis on the story unfolding below. Once fixed, please repost for consideration for a Photo Award.

Excellent travel portrait, Sharon. Initially, I thought reducing some sky, similar to your other post, would highlight your subject more. However, upon a closer look, the converging cloud lines superbly lead the eye towards the centre, enhancing the composition. You might consider adding an extremely subtle vignette to…Read More

Beaunard, the first image, presumed to be the wide or contextual shot, is beautifully executed. The contrast between the people below and the vibrant colours, the layering from top to bottom, and particularly how the people below juxtapose against the mannequins in the top window alongside the shapes and colours, enrich the…Read More
