John, your photo is outstanding and certainly merits a weekly award. To elevate it further, consider increasing the contrast in the sky to add more drama and depth. CANON90D, 0.5 sec@f/13, ISO100, 10mm(10-20mm) Sigma, CPL used together with a tripod. Used a couple pf images and time blended them in Photoshop to get the different states of flow in the river.

Hi Rosalie. New Zealand is a photographers dream but so is SA, the only difference being in NZ they are so geared up for hikers etc and everything is pretty close. But if you ever get a chance you must go.
