Thank you! I really appreciate your comment on my work. Yes, definitely agreed with your advice. It was my first silhouetted portrait ever without any practice and trying. I was shooting with this gorgeous model and just did it without a plan haha. Will share the result when I try my 2nd try 😁

The sun will rise

This photograph was taken while the car was in motion in the backseat on our way to Deadvlei, just after the Sesriem gate in Namibia this past December. With the chaos of two kids woken up at the crack of dawn, this moment was simply beautiful not capture.

What is your opinion on the Lightroom Classic V13 Splash Screen?
No offence to the photographer, but truth be told, we think it’s terrible. By the way, Version 13 also keeps on crashing. Anyone else have the same experience with it?![]()

I think this image portrays exactly the sort of woke culture we are currently experiencing, this is a gender neutral image, its really a very uninspiring image.

Some interesting new tools in the update. I have played with the background blur. Every now and again it would seem like LrC is processing a bit longer, but I haven’t experienced a crash…but then I may not have pushed it enough!

I frequently get compared to an Owl because of my love for the night and unusual sleeping habits! These are no doubt a side-effect of being a gamer and computer enthusiast. My interest in photography lies in taking photos of cityscapes and light trails at night; and architecture and abstract during the day.
Few people realise that a portrait can still be be very moody, even when shot against a bright backdrop—when the subject is silhouetted. This is an excellent example, Ray, and congratulations on your photo award!
