John, your subject is blending into the brick wall background. This is a common issue, especially with red/orange-toned bricks that closely match the tone of Caucasian skin. Additionally, the texture of the bricks makes it hard to distinguish the subject. To improve, consider moving your subject away from the backdrop or using a backlight for better separation. It’s generally best to avoid backgrounds like this where the subject doesn’t stand out clearly.
