Thank you, Rosalie! I took the picture early in the morning when they are still fairly lethargic. It reduces the risk somewhat. Later in the day they are quite aggressive and take a menacing posture by aligning their stings in the direction of the perceived threat.

There’s great potential to improve the mood by enhancing contrast, clarity, darkening the overall exposure, and dodging some of your subject’s features. Tip – shooting into the sun
Nikon D5, Nikon 200-500mm lens, 1/800 sec, f,6.3, ISO 250, flash did not fire. It was Captured from an unstable boat on the Chobe River, using a camera bracket.When shooting into the sun, it’s important to get the subject as sharp as possible.
