This is a captivating culinary creation. An orange-infused cake emerges delicately encased in a glistening gelatin layer. Created by Chef Vincent, I choose to photograph it in a low-key lighting set up, to accentuate the cake’s alluring charm and moodiness, and create a tantalising visual symphony.

This looks delectable. I love how the light subtly hits the cake stand creating that beautiful silouette showcasing the contrast between light and shadow with the high contrast of the electrifying oranges (colours) on top. Stunning @winifredharms

The dreaminess of this photo makes me think of all the stories. The sameness yet uniqueness of every building is very much in contrast to modern matchbox developments with their carbon copy apartments. Something very romantichistoricalmythical in this photo, almost like 1001 Arabian Nights. This picture is serious but it also makes me think of…Read More

I love this “river” of people. It reminds me of a couple of lines in a poem we did in school by Mongane Serote about Johannesburg:
“…I travel on your black and white roboted roads
Through your thick iron breath that you inhale
At six in the morning and exhale from five noon…”I often think about this as I commute. Inhale, exhale…inhale,…Read More
