Took this picture in January last year, it is quite tricky trying to co-ordinate the tides in the UK. The difference between low and high tide are so big, that you can get to a beach and there is no water for a few hundred metres, versus not being able to get on the beach because its completely covered the sand in some places. On this night I had to wait for around 3 hours to get just he right amount of water to cover the groyne to allow me to take a 3 min exposure at F13, and pack up and leave before the access jetty’s were completely closed.
