    • While I agree that news photographers must adhere to strict guidelines, I believe removing minor distractions like litter in a National Geographic image is harmless. However, competition rules are clear, and entrants must comply to avoid disqualification.

      • Yeah, I also didn’t think the cloning was bad, I would have done the same 🙂 I guess what I learnt is that it’s really important to read the rules, even if I think something would be allowed 🙈 The AI generated photos were ridiculous though.

    • I will only comment on the Wildlife images👍 To track wild animals in National Parks or game reserves they are usually identified by battle scars or unique markings. As a general rule all wildlife photographers are aware that no manipulation is allowed.
