How many elephants are there left in the world?
According to data collected by the WWF,
the numbers today are upsettingly low.
According to our calculations, less than 500,000 elephants exist today – and that is of both African and Asian species. In Africa, there are approximately 415,000 individuals left whilst in Asia, a mere 40,000. -

Pieter, thank you so much for sharing your actual work on the platform. I have great admiration for your videography and still photography skills. I love how you tell your story in a way that strips away all the unnecessary elements, leaving only the essence of the narrative. It’s an outstanding example for all our students!

A colleague of mine has a secondhand Hahnel Triad 60 Lite tripod, in very good condition, but is missing the camera “plate” adaptor (not familiar with proper name). If anyone has a spare or one available for sale please advise.
Alternatively, should anyone be interested in purchasing the tripod please drop me a message. -

Another excellent upload! I love the drama and mood, and how the clouds lead the eye to the vintage and rustic tractor. However, the area just beyond the tractor is too bright compared to the rest. Then also, applying a radial filter to add a touch more light to the tractor would really enhance the image. I’d love to see a re-edit of this o…Read More
