Looking for a vlogging camera? The Sony ZV-E10 II was released just a couple of weeks ago, and we’ve heard many good things about it. Let’s hear what Jared has to say about it.

Thank you for posting John, you captured wonderful action here. Good light in the eye, well exposed, and very sharp. I’m not sure if you croped this image like that however, if not, just a tip, always better not to zoom in so much to allow for more drama in your composition. It would have given your image the impact thats lacking here. Have a look…Read More

Hi Bruna. Thanks. I totally agree. Zoomed it would have been ideal but the whole incident happened in about 5 seconds and I was hand holding at only 1000 sec (and I’m not as steady as I used to be). So i figured my best bet was to get the shot I could and trust my 5d had the resolution to allow a crop.

Top Third-Party Speedlights Reviewed by Lee Morris! Unfortunately, it seems that we only have the Profoto and Godox in South Africa, but this video is worth watching, even if it’s just to learn about the features speedlights offer!

The Canon EOS R1 has just been launched, and don’t be fooled by the title of this video! The R1’s focusing system is absolutely insane, and we can see why sports, wildlife, and documentary photographers will love this beast of a camera!

I can understand why Jared believes the EOS R1 is a mere upgrade to the EOS R3. It shoots 24 megapixels and matches the R3 in many aspects. However, the incredible and improved focus system, robustness, and several other upgrades make the R1 a worthy flagship. It will be interesting to hear from those who have been shooting with the R3 for some time?

24-105mm f/2.8 Z! A Z lens? Really? Is it even possible? Canon releases “perhaps” the most versatile wide-aperture lens—a pricey and heavy 1.3 kg lens! This will be a truly unique lens and I would absolutely love to shoot almost “any subject” with it.

This will be the perfect lens for events, weddings, and any form of photography where you need a large aperture, wide-angle to long telephoto range! With a pretty impressive close-up ability at 105mm, it can “almost” double as a macro lens too. Well done, Canon! I would love to test it out and perhaps should talk to my friends at Canon SA to lend…Read More

Nice and sharp. Great composition too! There is a slight halo effect around the wings, which seems like a post processing issue. Fix it and upload again for a feature!
