Inside the Prism

We were lucky to get the opportunity recently to climb up in the Cape Recife Lighthouse in Port Elizabeth and view the lantern. It was an interesting experience, to say the least!
I took this photo with my Samsung, as the lens on my camera wasn’t nearly wide enough to capture the amazing fresnel glass lens in all its glory. I did a bit of clean-up in LR to remove some small bright spots that were drawing the eye too much, but since it was saved as a JPEG I couldn’t do much more editing than that.
