Tequila Sunrise

Tequila, orange juice and grenadine for the “sunrise”

Playing with some backlighting to try and get that glowing warm look. I used flash coming in from the right back, with a white reflector to lift the shadows in the front a bit.
Taken with my Canon 650D and my Canon 100mm macro lens, on a tripod.
1/200 sec, f11, ISO100
I also took a photo with front lighting but that resulted in a very flat looking image. I felt the directional lighting and shadows gave more depth to the image, although I’m torn as to whether the subject in the image is a little too dark.
