Oats and Blueberries
Going out of my comfort zone and playing around with dark and moody for a change. It was really interesting how much work I had to do to cut down the light, especially for the background, to get the feeling I was going for.

Rosalie, congratulations on a job well done. The way you’ve manipulated depth is commendable, with the blueberries leading the viewer’s eye from the foreground to the background seamlessly. The composition is well-balanced, focusing on the three primary elements: the bowl at the forefront, the blueberries to the left, and the softly blurred cinnamon sticks in the background, adding a warm contrast. Your mastery of depth of field accentuates the main subject, while the out-of-focus background adds a layer of mystery and intrigue. Well done on your photo award!
