Spotlight on “Urban Rust” by Danie
.
We’re excited to share Danie’s mobile photography project “Urban Rust.” As photographers, it’s important vital to engage in ongoing projects to deepen our skills and vision. Danie shot “Urban Rust” over a long period using his mobile camera, capturing scenes mainly from Arts on Main and Norwood—locations familiar to our tribe who’ve joined our photographic excursions.
..
If you keep your work meticulously organized in Lightroom catalogues, as Danie does, you’ll find it rewarding to revisit old shots. Danie reviewed his mobile images, synced from Lightroom Classic to Lightroom, and grouped them into the “Urban Rust” theme, resulting in a compelling album.

How do you go about creating your photography projects? Do you revisit your older works for inspiration?
