Get ready for an amazing portrait shoot! We’ll focus on advanced lighting techniques like feathering and shooting close to your subject to create amazing black and white portraits that showcase depth and emotion. Danie’s got a few of his signature pro tips up his sleeve — the kind he’s used in his own creative and professional portrait work — and he can’t wait to share them with you.

Plus, there’ll be a follow-up Zoom session where Danie will personally walk you through how to edit the photos you took.

What to bring:
• A portrait lens, preferably:
• APS-C: 35–55mm
• Full Frame: 50–85mm
• Zooms: 24–70mm / 24–105mm, etc.
• No tripods — portraits are fast and intuitive.
• Bring your own memory cards and fully charged batteries.
• Lights, triggers and backdrops will be provided.
