Thank you for posting, Riette. Egyptian geese are an excellent choice for practising bird photography skills. You can find them just about everywhere where there is water. These are a few pointers that could help if you are interested in bird photography. Firstly, don’t give up! then, try your best to get the entire bird sharp using a faster shutter speed. Your shutter speed should be at least 1/1000 sec for this bird. Activate the vertical lines in the camera to assist you with getting the horizon straight. Although your bird is in water, look closely, the water is running out of the frame towards the left side of your image. Try that and post again. All I am looking for now is a sharp image first.
