Jako Poolman. Golden Shimmer, Rocky Bay (December 2023)
After a couple of failed attempts, a morning finally arrived with only a few wisps of clouds in the sky. I caught this using the 2-stop, three-photo HDR technique right at the edge of golden hour and absolutely loved the golden colours.

Jako Poolman. Stormy Clouds, Rocky Bay (December 2023)

Nostalgia
Fujifilm XS10

SECOND IMAGE:
1/400 sec – f/4 – ISO 640 – Nikon D5 – Nikon 600mm Lens
FOCUS DISTANCE: 8,91 METERSFor the same focal length and same aperture setting, getting physically closer to the subject will give shallower DOF and more background bokeh. In other words, less of your subject will be sharp in focus.
