Lezindie, even though you’re not a pro member, I’m happy to critique this picture. I love the simplicity and the lighting—well done! I would have liked to see a bit more space, especially at the top, as the scene feels grand and could use more room. Adding extra clarity and sharpness, especially around the edges of the mountain, would have enhan…Read More

This was taken before I joined DPC and learnt to shoot RAW, so it was shot as a JPEG, which means I didn’t do a lot of editing on it, just cropping and some texture…Read More

These two photos were taken near Kukonje Island at sunset. The first photo was shot at 560mm, 1/4000 sec, f/7.1, ISO 800. The second photo was captured at 560mm, 1/1250 sec, f/6.3, ISO 800. I really like how the zoom makes the sun appear larger.

I took this photo with my Samsung, as the lens on my camera wasn’t nearly wide enough to capture the amazing fresnel glass lens in all its glory. I…Read More -

Beautiful shot Bruno.Your image is sharp and well exposed and ample detail in the feathers. When the background is busy, rather oppt for a f/5.6 or f/6 with a lens at that range. It will allow for the subject to pop away from the background for more imapact.
