DESCRIPTION:B-Sides of Architecture Workshop\nDate: Friday\, 23 August \nJoin Danie for the B-Sides Architecture Outing next Friday from 09:00 – 14:00 in Johannesburg. \nInstructor: Danie Bester \nWhat to Expect: \n\nCapture dramatic shots of architectural structures in the moody/directional winter light.\nLearn about exposure and composition for moody architectural photography.\nWalk away with a portfolio of at least 12 curated images across different sets.\nEnjoy a free 90-minute Zoom session on editing (recording included).\n\nYou’ll learn about the following aspects: Light\, Colour\, Contrast\, Texture\, Angle\, Line\, Shape\, Form\, Geometry\, Focal Point\, Repetition\, and Layering. \nBring: \n\nYour camera\, standard zoom lens\, and your favourite prime lens.\nMobile phone cameras are welcome — Danie will be shooting with his phone exclusively!\nLeave your tripod at home.\nCash or card for coffee and brunch.\n\nMeeting Time and Place:\nMeet us at 08:50 at Arts on Main/Jewel City. We will have a 30-minute Zoom meeting on Wednesday\, 21 August\, for final arrangements. Details will also be shared with all attendees in the WhatsApp group. \nTransport Reminder:\nDanie wil be leaving at 08:00 from our Studio in Centurion and would prefer students to drive or convoy with us!
