ISO-100, 1/400 sec at f/5.6. Canon 6D, 90mm Tilt-Shift Lens, TripodThis HDR panoramic study of the Gautrain bridge features nine bracketed shots merged into a single, image using Photoshop. While one of the overhead cables did not align perfectly with the others, this was easily corrected by my retoucher in Photoshop. In terms of Lightroom adjustments, I kept it simple, applying one of my personal development presets and selectively dodging specific parts of the bridge for emphasis.
Interestingly, I captured this photo back in 2015 and had it printed in large format. At that time, I could not have foreseen that our studio would one day be situated just 300 metres from this very location. The print now hangs in the foyer of our studio.

The more abstract forms of photography like impressionism and minimalism intrigue me. I prefer creating images that depict energy, mood, and silence. To illustrate my themes, I use mainly long exposures, selective focus, and focus blur. My philosophy is that the camera is just a paintbrush and that thought-provoking images stem from a developed mind.
