Flambient vs HDR
Personally, I don’t think it matters much. It’s about what works best for you and is acceptable to your clients. Earlier in my career, I used flash, but I found the time and effort spent didn’t justify the earnings. Nowadays, with cameras offering more dynamic range and with improved post-processing algorithms and batch processing, I lean towards bracketing and HDR.
I do love the look and feel of combining ambient light with flash though.
