    • Thanks for sharing, Landie. We love the gorgeous lighting and nuanced contrasts! This isn’t the Photo Critique Group, but we’re curious: why did you set the aperture to f/29? At f/11 or f/16, for instance, the picture would have remained tack-sharp and allowed for a lower ISO. This would have provided better quality, especially if you plan to print it larger, while maintaining a fast shutter speed.

      • To be honest – it was a panic choice. As we arrived at Mapungubwe, my wildlife lens decided it is no longer focussing automatically. So I had to manually focus and it just made me photo-panic…. A good lesson to check equipment before trips.
