    Handy summary of some basic steps to edit landscape photos in Lightroom.

    Summary:
    Step 1: Lens Corrections
    – Remove chromatic Aberration
    – Enable Lens Corrections

    Step 2: Crop and Straighten

    Step 3: Exposure and White Balance
    – Basic Panel, Exposure Setting, WB Setting
    – Use shift double-click on the word (e.g. “Exposure”) to get Lightroom’s proposed value

    Step 4: Highlights and Shadows
    – Basic Panel, Highlights and Shadows Settings
    – 9 out of 10 times, bring down the highlights, bring up the shadows

    Step 5: White Points and Black Points
    – Basic Panel, Whites and Blacks Settings
    – Generally use Lightroom selection

    Step 6: Apply Contrast using the Tone Curve
    – Tone Curve Panel
    – Use the Point Curve Dropdown for a starter

    Step 7: Update Presence
    – Basic Panel, Presence section. Texture, Clarity, Dehaze, Vibrance, Saturation Settings
    – Clarity up or down 10

    Step 8: Sharpening
    – Detail Panel, Sharpening Section
    – Upper 60 or lower 70
    – Use Masking slider to control which bits are sharpened (White portions receive sharpening)
